The Mayor of Berlin visited the industrial courtyard in Prenzlauer Berg as part of his summer tour of the German capital’s localities. Jörg Schmidtsiefen greeted him with a brief tour of the trial installations for the current Archimedes project “Re: generation”.
77 unusual exhibits that Archimedes is currently designing and producing for the first Science Centre in neighbouring Poland will be on show in the test run in our 1000-m² assembly hall over the next few weeks. The exhibition is primarily aimed at teenagers and young adults aged between 17 and 25 – a demanding target group. The inauguration is set to take place at the Copernicus Science Centre in December 2010. Klaus Wowereit is already looking forward his invitation.
