Light speed bicycle

This exhibit simulates a bike ride through the German city of Tübingen at the speed of light. The screen in front of visitors shows Tübingen market square. Two things are readily noticeable: first, the field of vision is much larger. In other words, visitors see much more of their surroundings. This makes features like buildings appear much smaller. Second, all objects that are perpendicular to the direction of motion, such as the street lights or houses, appear to bend.
